Welcoming my cucu-s...

I am a grandma already at a age of 20! I would like to welcome my 5 grandchildren of 4 legs. Haha, my sis cat had just given birth to 5 wonderful healthy kittens. Yes, Anggun is already a mom. So fast already. I already book the last kitten. Black and white, the cat that I have always wanted. Haha, another addition to my future house.

The second week of fasting is coming already. Looks like hari raya songs will be playing soon on the radio. I can't wait. Nothing can beat Hari Raya songs. LOL.The spirit is there, joy and fun is reserved for later, after puasa. I've been very tired and fatigue lately. Maybe tired from work and futhermore I need time to get use to when fasting. But so far so good.

I spent my lunchtime outside office. Need to get out. I think it is scientifically proven if you were to stare too long into the computer, your mind tends to go haywire. LOL. Anyways have you all heard or read about the new casts for Batman Part 3????? JOHNNY DEPP as the Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as the Penguin. OMG!!! SO bloody hell excited seii. Ishk, is Batman getting better or what? Besides Heath Ledger's death and Bale's assault case, it is just getting better. Hope it is not cursed or anything. But I must say that Heath Ledger is the best Joker ever. and I definitely agree, his role as the Joker made Jack Nicholsan look like a clown. Hahaha.

I am still waiting for Harry Potter, darn why must they postpone the movie. I cant wait to watch Playhouse bunny in October, that is so my type of movie. Haha, i just love that girl who always play the role of Sydney in Scary movie.

Anyways I just watched Pink's very new music video for her latest single, 'So What?' Thanks, Busu for introducing me to the video, its so GILA!!! Haha, check it out.

My weekend break

It was as planned. At last I got to wake up late. Woke up at 9.30 which is way way late as compared to waking up at 6.15 every morning. Haha. Got my beauty sleep at last. Played with the cats and took a bath to get ready to visit my grandma at my uncle's house.
********
Its been a week since I last saw my grandma. So glad to have met her just now. Alhamdulillah she is well but she still misses my late grandpa alot. Tears were rolling down her cheeks but she tried to hide it cos she was fasting. I know how it feels when you are trying to control your tears. My grandma lost her husband, her life partner. Of course, it is not easy for her. But she is a very strong lady. Whenever I meet her, she will always have stories to tell. Thats what I like about her. You can spent the whole day with her and she still have things to talk about. Very cute lah my grandma. hehe
********
Went to Geylang in the afternoon with the gang. Geylang is still the same. Haha. But the food is always the reason why i go there. Haha, sungguh menyelerakan. Break my fast at Zali's Cafe. Had to book the place early, thanks to Bik Mon and Wak Nah. Bik Mon and Wak Nah got what they wanted. We girls walked around the baazar but didn't really get to explore. I must definitely go there again. Tak puas ah. Haha, Baazar Geylang happens only once a year so might as well. It got crowded after breaking fast. Luckily we went home early, so the bus wasn't really full. Planning to buy a baju kurong sepasang with my sayang. Green rite? Haha. Officially, this would be the first year we planned to have a couple suit. Let's just say that all my baju for Raya is already covered. Haha. Glamour habis. :p
********
The Kl trip next weekend with my family is ON! Yeahh, actually can see the baju kurong there also. There should be cheaper. Masjid India, here I come. Haha. Can't wait. Petaling Street, Pavilion and not forgetting the CHICKEN RICE shop!!! I loike! But it would be definitely different to go there while fasting. My dad can't have snacks here and there. Haha, kesian daddy. Love to sit at the cafe outside Sungei Wang, have satay while listening to the live band. That Saiful Apek look alike can definitely sing. His voice really power. But it is always packed. That is all next weekend.

T.G.I.F

Thank God Its Friday!!! Yeah, after a hardworking week, time for me to let my hair down. Hahaha. So..........................what are the plans for the weekends? This is gonna be the first weekend that will be fasting. Had plans tomorrow to visit grandma in the noon and go Geylang in the afternoon. Yepp, I am all booked. Haha. Geylang was a last minute thingy. Wak Nah and Bik Mon want to walk2.Anyways, I break fast today with my friends, Hannah and Mel. Too bad Aisha couldn't join us. She had other plans. I gave Hannah her birthday pressie. Couldn't meet up with her last weel so had to postpone the birthday dinner. We ate at Ramen Ten at Century Square. It was my first time eating there and I had the Spicy Tom Yum Ramen. OK lah but not spicy after all. Haha. I am not the Japanese food type of person but I do love Ramen. I just love the setting of the restaurant. Very nice. I LOVE the red chandlier. Kept staring at it. People thought that I was gonna steal it or something. Haha. Just couldn't keep my eyes off it. It felt good to meet up with them after such a long time. Time really passes by. Each of us has our own path to follow.
********
During lunch, I prefer not to stay in the office so I followed my colleagues who had their lunch. Just need to take a breather outside. The company had a very meaningful event today. They actually invited the kids of those parents who are working at the company to celebrate Children's Day. They were sooo cute. Part of the event was to actually see where their mommy and daddy work at. So adorable. So innocent. Haha. I didn't get to visit my dad at his workplace when I was young BUT i did get to disturb my mom while she was working in the hospital. Haha, played with the staplers, went in and out of the toilet and disturbed her friends. Haha, those were the days. I would definitely want my kid to see me work so that they'll know how I am killing myself at work, LOL!
********
I decided to change my blogskin. Time for a change. Since Busu can change so many times, I also jealous you know. Haha, no lah. Just needed a change. Don't want to be so emo. Time to move on. Reality is slipping in. Time to wake up and move on with life. "The grass is greener on the other side.." Right? :p

My parents are coming back next week. My dad graduating next Friday and I am attending the graduation ceremony. So proud of daddy. Congrats daddy.

Catching up with times

Mr BF has been constantly updating me with the hurricane scenes that are happening. He is interested will all these things like astronomy and stuff. My relationship just gets interesting even though we've been together very long. I learn more new things about him. Hurricane Gustav is in the hot news. Its like the hurricane season. Thank god S'pore is protected from all these natural disasters.

Well, it has been raining heavily these past few days. Alhamdulillah. Usually it will be hot during fasting month. It is a totally different feeling in the office. When you have work to do, you tend to not notice the time. But when you finished your work, the time is the only thing you will be looking at. Haha. Time seemed to be passing by slow today. Maybe because I had only a few things to do today. I've been surfing the net to find what courses I should take next for my Degree. I really want to expand my studies. But so far, Earlychildhood management catches my attention. Being a teacher also came to my mind. BUT I blurr after that. I think just looking through at the brochures online, i got a headache choosing what I think is right for me. Most importantly, I do not want to take up a course and quit halfway because I have no interest in it.
I want to have a good and stable career for my future.

So my plan would be working plus studying part time. Hais, Insyallah.

There is always a first to everything

There is a saying.."There is always a first to everything." And to me I believe that to start is the hardest thing to do. For e.g. To start keeping fit. Hahaha, It will always be in my wish list that will never be fulfilled. Today was the start of Ramadhan a.k.a fasting month. Alhamdulillah, everything went well. I kept visiting the toilet while working. I declare that the toilet is my new best friend. There is a lot I can do during this holy month and I hope to make this holy month a memorable one. Insyallah.

Well, back to work everyday. So far so good. I can't feel that I was fasting also. Haha, but hey looking at the amount of food I eat everyday, fasting is definitely not a problem for me. *Winks* Time passes by very fast. Yesterday there was a fatal car accident nearby my workplace. At first I heard it from my VP. She informed us that there was a car accident outside and that the victim died instantly. She confirmed that it was not a SCS staff. But it was a huge surprise for me when I found out from the news that it was a 16 year old boy. He was driving illegally and lost control of his brother's car. Oh dear, my condolences to his family. It must be a huge blow for his mom.

Well, anyone can go at anytime. We might never know when is our last day. Just make sure that you live life to the fullest as you only live once but that doesn't give you an excuse to do stupid things. We must know our limits.

I want to upload this family pic that I really fell in love with, thanks to Kak Su. Thank you Kak Su for making this wonderful collage of the Samad family :)
